Measurement, reporting and evaluation
The effectiveness of a sustainability system is measured by the sustainability impacts that it delivers. Credible sustainability systems monitor their performance and improve their effectiveness over time.
A sustainability system needs to know whether its strategies are achieving its desired sustainability outcomes. ISEAL supports its members to have good data about performance, on both who they are reaching and changes in practice on the ground. This data can be used to inform stakeholders about the effectiveness of the system and shared with companies and others for sustainability reporting and disclosure.
